Landscaping Software

We moved into a home with a fantastic back yard.  The previous owner was a master gardener.  The first year I lost two trees, a handful of bushes and wasn't quite what to do with the daisies that didn't bloom.  Landscaping Software would have solved all my problems.  What you would do is get an aerial photo of your home lot from Google Earth and then use it to place all the plants you have in your back yard on the photo.  The program would then send you email reminders at different times of the year reminding you of work that needed to be done.  When it was time to trim your trees you would get an email reminding you to get it done in the next couple of weeks.  It could also make suggestions for empty space based off your climate zone.

  1. That's brilliant! I think it may be the best idea yet. And it could help you plan a backyard that would thrive in your region too. You could search for inexpensive plants, amazing plants, plants that flower in pink...and maybe they could even mail them to you? I would totally buy it.
