If you can't tell the whole mobile idea seems so undeveloped to me, here's another one. Mobile beauty salon/ barber shop. You outfit a box truck to look like the inside of a barber shop and drive around cutting people's hair. It's as easy as that. For the salon idea, you would need a little more equipment but same thing.
Question:
With all these mobile ideas bouncing around what would you like to see mobile that isn't now?
Maybe door to door computer help, kind of like your bathroom cleaning idea. Everybody always has some kind of computer problem that could use some looking at. Along those same lines, how about a mobile auto mechanic, to fix those nagging problems you never want to make time at the shop for? I've read about a mobile oil change service that will even come to your place of business. They only charge slightly more than normal (maybe $35-$40, vs. the $25-$30 you could spend at Jiffy Lube), but you don't hardly have to think about it! And you could give discounts if people refer their colleagues at work, so you could minimize drive time. Very minimal equipment is needed to do an oil change, so the investment would be low.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem with all these mobile ideas is the price of gas. As prices climb, the amount you charge would have to go up as well, making the ideas less attractive.
Mobile creeps and pervs
ReplyDeleteSo the computer thing only works if you've got a PC (zing!). I do think a door to door oil change would rock. I've been meaning to get over to Jiffy Lube for the last week and a half and just haven't had the time. I would totally pay to have someone change my oil in my drive way.
