Business Casual Shirt and Pants
They do this with kids cloths all the time. They sell pants and a matching shirt. They need to do the same thing for men's cloths. A lot of my counterparts have a hard time putting a decent shirt pant combo together (I work with one). This way you could walk into the men's department at JC Pennies (because lets face it, these guys probably aren't shopping at Macy's), grab a combo off the rack, pay and head to the Game Stop to check out the new XBox games. You could even do belts and socks to match.

To add on to this, why not an entire wardrobe in a box? You could include 4-5 shirts, a pair of pants, a belt, shoes, 4-5 pairs of socks, etc. Packaged like this, I bet you could get away with slimmer margins, with a total price in the neighborhood of $100. This would be great for men like me, that HATE to shop for clothing.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I've actually purchased a combo set at Kohl's before, though it only included a shirt and tie, but it was definitely a step in the right direction!
That's actually an awesome idea! I would do it for Zach in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteYou should get a patent on that idea! haha. There should be an outfit for every day of the week! Sell a whole box set and you would make a mint:)
