Better Workout: Swim in Gravy

I don't think it would be a good idea to swim in gravy.  I also think swimming is a pretty darn good exercise to begin with.  But what if you could make four times as effective by "thickening" the viscosity of the fluid you were in.  Make it thick and you have a little more to push against.  It's a better work out for your strength and endurance.
