There are tricks to staying on task at work. If I really need to focus I'll shut down my email and internet programs and just focus on my spreadsheet or word doc or whatever. We had an internet lock down program on our computer at home that would allow us to "lock" the internet off for a specific time period. This would help keep the kids from spending too much time on the web. They should make the same thing for other programs. E-mail is always a big one for me, I can be working hard on something, see an email come in and end up on a tangent.
