Wrist Strapps on Wheelbarrows
I recently moved close to 6000 lbs on rock, sand and gravel from my drive way into my back yard. By the end of the second day of hauling a couple hundred pounds of wheelbarrow load after the other, my skinny arms were starting to give way. The problem was my forearms couldn't take the weight of squeezing the handles anymore. So why not add wrist straps to the handles of the wheelbarrow? I know I could have done twice the load if the weight of the haul was shifted from my fingers and forearms to my shoulders and upper arms. Steering would be a little more difficult but the benefits would take over if you had to do lots of loads over relatively straight paths.
